What Are Temperaments?
There are four Temperaments, which represent the ways Your Character prefers to approach problems. Skills, along with Traits, are a common way for the game to determine whether Your Character succeeds on a task.
The Four Temperaments
- Temperament/Fighter: You prefer to aggressively brawl and shoot your way through problems.
- Temperament/Saint: You try to do good and resolve problems with a minimum of violence.
- Temperament/Trickster: You prefer to solve problems through theft and trickery.
- Temperament/Watcher: You prefer to observe problems and gather information before acting.
How Temperaments Work
- At the start of the game, you have no Temperaments.
- As you take actions, you will begin to favor one or two Temperaments, causing their values to increase while others may decrease.
- Eventually, two of your Temperaments will rise above the others and become dominant. At this point, you will not be able to increase the two lower-rated Temperaments.
- The different Temperaments open up different options and jobs in the game.
